It’s not every day that you hear of a mother of two young boys heading off on a 10-week expedition to climb Mt. Everest. But that’s exactly what Hilaree O’Neill did back in 2012. And it wasn’t the first time: when her first son was just 10 months old, she set off on an 8-week expedition to Gasherbrum II.
