Inspired by the chilly weather, this kale smoothie features the classic flavors of apple cider, cloves, and Christmas lights. Fresh ginger, ground cloves, cinnamon and vanilla combine with the flavors of fresh apples and apple juice to create one quite delicious, slightly spiced, healthy drink.

Garnish the top with a little cinnamon or nutmeg and you’re all set!

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp fresh chopped ginger
  • 1 banana
  • ½ cup apple juice
  • ⅛ tsp cinnamon
  • ⅛ tsp cloves
  • 2 drops vanilla extract
  • 1 large apple, or 4 tiny-ass apples
  • 1 leaf kale

Instructions

  1. add all ingredients to blender
  2. blend
  3. serve and enjoy!
